Paco Montalvo’s interest in music began when he was quite young. His family introduced him to the violin at an early age. He began by taking lessons from his father at the age of five. Since then, he has studied with Yuri Petrossian and Nestor Eidler, who was a disciple of Szentgÿorgyi and David Oistrach. He gave his first recital at the age of six. When he was twelve years old, he made his debut with the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra in Madrid, Spain.〔"Raised Four Strings. ''The Country.''
